 The story of Adkins Care Centers began in 1961, when Toney
and Geraldine Adkins founded the Adkins Nursing Home. In doing so, they established
a philosophy that has endured to the present day – to care for residents as
if they were part of their own family, and to provide them with the very best care
possible in a loving, home-like environment.
In everything we do, we place the emphasis on family – because we believe
there is nothing more important in the lives of those we care for, as well as
those who are associated with our facilities. Our residents, as well as their
loved ones who have entrusted us with their care, become part of the Adkins
family. We look upon our staff of dedicated caregivers in the same way.
Together, we strive to provide our residents with much more than their basic
needs – we try to add all the little touches that make life more pleasant
for them. We can truly say to them, "Our home is your home."
